ACMI FUN DAY...

NEWS AT ACMI...

We recently held an ACMI Fun Day to raise funds to fabricate tents for missions. Fun activities included horse riding, camel riding, bouncing castles...as well as entertainment from Jimmy Gait, one of our country's national gospel musicians. His entertainment doubled as ministry as he talked to the youth who were present about life, success and putting God first in their lives.

We are in the process of recruiting college graduates for our Life Changers Program, geared towards reaching University and College students.

We have been recently blessed by Steve Bixler and his team who were here in Kenya a short while ago, and helped a lot with construction at our ACMI offices.

Our Bishop, Henry Mulandi, was recently given an honorary doctorate by Dr. Clyde Rivers of the United College Graduate & Seminary. Congratulations!!!

Our Departments

Church Planting
Since its inception, ACMI has been reaching out to the unreached people groups such as the Turkana of Northern Kenya. After outreach we establish small congregations for fellowship as well as continuation of the work in the area. Other Church planting activities by ACMI have continued in Uganda, D.R.Congo, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Sudan and other areas. We also have a Church Planting School (called World Mission Institute) that has been recently launched at the ACMI Thika base.

Discipleship and Mission Training
ACMI has endeavored to establish discipleship and mission training schools in various parts of Africa. The ACMI base at Kakuma hosts the Interdenominational Leaders Bible School (at Kakuma Refugee Camp), Kakuma International School of Missions (KAISOM) and a Missions Training center. Sudan Christian Discipleship Center (SCDC) finds its home at the ACMI Mission base in Sudan. these schools have provides a strong spring board for many new believers and Christian leaders for a strong ministerial foundation.

Child Sponsorship
Operation Hope is the name of the program. It is involved in supporting orphaned children in giving them at least a basic education.

Native Sponsorship
There are those among us who are willing to be involved in Missionary work and even though they have the finances, their busy schedules do not allow them. Then there are those who have all the time in the world but lack the needed finances to support them. What to do? If you would like to support a native missionary, contact us for more information.

Media Evangelism
Which involves production of The ACMI Newsletter, Video Coverage and Editing and graphic design.

Life Changers Program
Young adults willing to volunteer have been serving the Lord in primary and secondary schools programme.
We are now beginning a Life Changers Program geared towards ministering to the youth in Universities and Colleges. If you are interested, do email us.

Tent Ministry
ACMI has a strong team of qualified men who construct tents for hire and for sale at very affordable rates. The tents are of varying sizes from the 100 seater Roof tents to the 4,500 Navedome with 1 extra mid section. Contact us now for more information.

Carving Ministry
The work that goes on in this department is just tremendous. I used to buy African carvings and crafts from an open market in the capital city of Kenya. But with this new ministry operating right under my nose, I don't think I will need to travel far to find something that's as beautiful. Visit the ACMI base in Thika to see for yourself.

Tracks Ministry
Sometimes evangelism needs to be in from of written material. Tracks in many different local languages are sent to ACMI by donors and redistributed to different churches in remote areas to serve as an evangelism tool.

ACMI Background

ACMI BACKGROUND

CCI, (Christian Church International), (formerly ACCEA-African Christian Church of East Africa) was registered with the Kenyan Government in 1964. ACMI (formerly ACM-African Christian Missions) was founded by Bishop Henry Z. Mulandi in 1992 when he saw the need of reaching out in High schools, Colleges and Universities with the gospel of Christ, preaching in open-air meetings (crusades) all over the country and planting churches in different villages in collaboration with the local churches.

He also saw the need of reaching out to the refugees by ministering to their spiritual, emotional and physical needs through provision of God's word, food and clothing.Over the years, the Lord has expanded our boundaries within Kenya, Africa and beyond. Through the participation of sponsors, friends and partners of this ministry as well as volunteers and a diligent work-force, ACMI has positively impacted countless lives. We have bases in war-torn parts of Congo and Sudan.

Our Missionary Bases

Nuba Mountains
A team of missionaries were sent by A.C.M.I. to Nuba Mountains, Sudan, to plant a church and train the believers. The team reaches out through home evangelism and offering leadership training courses to pastors and church leaders. In the last few months over 100 people have been worn to the Lord in Nuba Mountains.

Rumbek
The base holds Sudan Christian Discipleship Center, which mainly offers leadership training. The base is as a result of God’s call to train and disciple church leaders in southern Sudan, after a long-term civil war which claimed many lives and left the church very weak spiritually. A.C.M.I. moved into the area in full force and established a school for discipleship training. The aim is to train equip and impact skills in church leaders to that they may be able to do the same in their local communities. Recently ACMI partnered with Life in Abundance (LIA) to carry out holistic ministry to the Sudanese people.

Welcome to ACMI

Welcome to the ACMI website.
We count it a blessing to have you as our visitor on this page. It will expose to you the great works that God has been doing through this ministry. It will also give you a chance to be part of ACMI as a prayer partner, a financial partner or a missionary.

Seeing the favor of God upon our lives gives us heart and encourages us to not faint. God's greatest mission on earth was about people. People who know and those who do not know that light has shone in the dark and God wants to see real transformation in spiritual lives, social lives, academic lives, all in a wholesome manner. God wants to see the whole man transformed into his kingdom.

I believe the transformation should also make us one with God in his mission to continue to do the same as he did.

"My mission is to do the work of him that sent me and to finish his work." Jesus said. What is this mission he talked about? What is the will of the one who sent him? This would be a great discovery to make. What is this meat and this will of the Father? May you discover that 'meat' and 'will' of the Father as you browse through this website.

Bishop Dr. Henry Mulandi.
